I recently engaged Eugene Higgins (Colour Green) to design and build a garden at our home in Skerries, Dublin. I am very pleased with the job Eugene and his team did and would highly recommend Eugene to others - something which I have in fact already done several times. Eugene's design skills and attention to detail are evident throughout the garden and in particular his ability to pick and place the right planting scheme for the garden is second to none.

The job was carried out in a transparent, efficient and friendly manner with full consideration given to our own thoughts and ideas. The price was fair and reasonable particularly given the quality of materials used throughout. Eugene has also provided excellent after-service, often calling to see the garden to check that everything is doing well, provide tips, guidance and even trim back some of the trees! In summary, I am a very satisfied customer of Eugene Higgins (Colour Green) and would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Eugene and his team were fantastic to work with. He listen to us and came up with great ideas that worked within our budget. We were away while the majority of the work was being done but Eugene updated us daily about what was happening. We wanted the work started as soon as possible and Eugene managed to facilitate that for us. Since he completed our garden he has remained in contact providing advice and has also called to check that our new lawn had settled. The aftercare has been amazing, something we didn't expect. I would highly recommend Eugene as our garden really did exceed our expectations.

Eugene was great to work with on our recent garden renovation project. He listened to what we were looking to achieve and came up with a wide variety of options and suggestions that were appropriate to the budget we were working to. He also listened to and incorporated our feedback. Eugene was always contactable or quick to revert if we left a message. The team he uses were very friendly and excellent at their job. Happy and confident to recommend Eugene to friends for any garden projects they may be considering

Eugene is a consummate professional with a real passion for his work. He completely redesigned our back garden and completed the job on time and within budget. He was very mindful of our needs as we have a small dog and advised us along the way of the most suitable planting etc. Most impressive was the aftercare service, which demonstrates the pride he has in his work. We would not hesitate to recommend Eugene for any garden project.

Eugene Higgins(Colour Green) recently redesigned my Garden in Skerries, Dublin.

The Garden was very overgrown with several large Trees and Shrubs needing to be removed. Eugene advised me to retain some of these ,specifically a Large Cherry Tree, I am so glad that I took his advice as the Cherry Tree greatly enhanced the Garden when the landscaping was completed. Eugene also removed the old patio and replaced it with a natural stone patio , with new planting around it, it is stunning.

The selection of Plants has given the garden colour throughout the Spring, Summer and Winter months. I have noticed that the garden now attracts more Bees,Ladybirds etc since it was redesigned which has to be a good thing. The aftercare has been excellent , with Eugene calling to ensure that the Garden was thriving ,plus he gave me handy advice on trimming and pruning the relevant new plants. Eugene has transformed my Garden as a result of hard work and a great design.I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Eugene Higgins has done work on my garden on a number of occasions in recent years, including a complete remodelling of my back garden. I have been impressed with the standard of Eugene’s work and the quality of what he has done and how well he achieved what I wanted. He has shown great creativity in design and choice of plants and materials. He undertook the work in a very professional manner, discussing options and keeping me informed at all stages about potential costs. I have recommended his work to others and look forward to dealing with him again in the future.

Professional service and fantastic result

Eugene and his team designed and landscaped my back garden in March 2023. This included paving, patio and planting. I love the garden. The garden is transformed. Eugene and the team are responsive and also follow up with advice and support. I recommend Eugene highly. Brian

We had our garden designed and completed in April 2023 by Eugene and his team at ColourGreen. Eugene was enthusiastic and engaging when it came to giving us exactly what we wanted and kept us within budget while never sacrificing quality. His expertise and knowledge immediately put us at ease when it came to the overall design and subsequent management of the garden and we couldn't be happier with the results. At every step, we were kept up to date on everything, from the types of plants and flowers being planted, to future suggestions as the garden evolves. It really was service to the highest standard and we have been able to enjoy the summer in this beautiful garden we've been dreaming of for years. We cannot recommend Eugene and the team at ColourGreen more, truly the best of the best!

Eugene and his team transformed our small garden last year.
Eugene listened to us and also gave us some great ideas,
he is as professional as he is charming. We now have a beautiful garden, filled with plants hand picked by Eugene, a wonderful space that acts like an extra room in the summer. I couldn't recommend Eugene and his team highly enough, they were a pleasure to work with on every level.

Eugene did a great job on our garden last summer. He was creative, professional and the whole thing felt like such a collaborative experience. He kept in touch with us afterwards, checking in on the lawn and the plants. His team were great and efficient too. We couldn't be happier with the results. And the work came in bang on budget.

Delighted with Eugene's work and our garden. He has transformed it from a dreary uninviting space to such a beautiful place that we love to spend time in. He has been following up and is always happy to answer any questions you have on the plants. He also recommended Bronwyn who painted our garden walls in such a vibrant colour and brings the plants to life. Highly recommended and was also able to work to our short time frame, which was great.

Eugene and his team did a fantastic job. From initial design concept to actual implementation, Eugene was in contact me throughout the process. The end result is a work of art, my small garden is basically a new room added to my house. I am very happy with the result and will happily recommend this service to my friends.

Eugene and his landscaping team at Colour Green are fantastic. I would recommend them without hesitation. Eugene is so knowledgeable and passionate about all things horticulture. He gives great advice and no question is too stupid. He listened to what we wanted, answered all our questions, advised us on what would and wouldn't work and why etc. The end result is really great. What I particularly like about him is his interest and attention after the job is done. We are so impressed that we have asked him to do our back garden too.
